YES, she came home 24 hours past surgery doing good and declined by morning. This time same thing, she came home and declined by morning!
Do you think coming home could be a stressor? (there have been no changes at home other than she has always been a free roaming ferret and is caged since being sick)
As for toxins, I can't think of any she would be exposed to unless they are airborn. Come to think of it, the hospital air is as purified as can be. Is there anything airborn that could be doing this? Allergies? Asthma? It would have to be something airborn that affects only her since the other ferrets are all fine.
