Hi Julie,
I was really impressed by your case and, as a friend of mine who is a vet c=
ame by to visit me this weekend, I exposed your case to her, maybe she woul=
d help.
She told the following:

The Metoclopramide does not work more than 24 hours and its normal that she=
felt a little better because this medicine helped her liver and prevented =
her from vomiting. It's a medicine you only use when needed. =C2=A0it's tre=
ating the effect, not the cause.

She believes that she has no ulcer and the bloating can be helped with a li=
ttle bit of charcoal.

The digestive problem comes from a liver problem and you should use hepatop=
rotectors (vitamine B1, B2, B6 and C).

For the intestinal movement, you can use Psyllium tea (It's a type of cerea=
l).

Gluconic calcium for the grinding teeth.

She thinks there is also a neurological problem involved (grinding teeth is=
not related to a digestive problem). There is a syrup used from children, =
called Peritol (active substance =E2=80=93 Cyproheptadinum) or Neuro Optimi=
zer (also, grinding teeth can be a sign of a deficiency =E2=80=93 oligoelem=
ent- but since she doesn=E2=80=99t have all the data, she can only suspect =
what I wrote above). Vitamine C could solve this problem normally, if the d=
eficiency is not too high.

You should not put her back on her food, but keep her on a strict diet, to=
help her liver. You could go back to square one.
She thinks this fuzzy has all the chances to recover, it;s not an animal to=
die. There is a sum of factors involved, =C2=A0that is why it might seem p=
uzzling.
She needs to know what food you gave her before she became sick, how do her=
gums look like (the contact gum-teeth), how is her stool now and if there =
is any other sign that could point to a neurological problem (is she fallin=
g, walking straight etc.).
She feels sorry she cannot see the animal (its very hard to diagnose from f=
ar, without seeing clinical signs), but from what you wrote, she made a pic=
ture more or less. She is very optimistic about your ferret, so do not thin=
k in euthanizing her, it=E2=80=99s not the case.
=C2=A0R.
