Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: HIlbert has an infection and is on IV
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Mornie has possibly broken with it by all appearances: a bout of diarrhea and mild dehydration. She can still eat, though, so hopefully will be able to keep the food in. Steve and I set up the master bathroom as a sickroom and have given her a soup of turkey baby food and water.

We appear to have used up all of our store of a/d so will need to also get 10 cans of it when we can pick up Hilbert.

Hopefully, Mornie will never get as sick as he is with it, hopefully, none of the other 3 ferrets will get it, and hopefully, Hilbert will be well enough on his way to recovery soon to come home since he really does not hospitals except for short visits. Mornie probably would keep an IV in at home, but Hilbert always refuses to do so.
