Misty,

Not meaning to give you false alarm, but quickly check for distemper! We rescued a little girl from the outside that went to what appeared to be normal to extremely sick to gone in 3 weeks. We were taking her to the vet every few days and trying different things. Some seemed to work and some didn't. We didn't know until after she had passed what was wrong with her and only then by reading another blog from another ferret forum. It was a terrible death that she suffered and I still can't talk about the details after about 4 years. I felt so responsible for her suffering. Had I known what her prognosis was, she would have never suffered like that. Please don't think that I am trying to be gloom and doom. I'm sure that the chances of distemper are slim to none, but just incase please have her checked. I currently have 10 living ferrets and 22 under the spruce in the back yard. I will probably never sell my house because I can't take my babies out back. I love them al
l and would do anything for any of them. I'm sure you know how I feel. This is just a suggestion to check out.
Holly
