Where exactly did the hair loss start?
My Stormy is adrenal and I treat her with melatonin tablets crushed up. She will scratch like mad if I miss a dose or two(i just can not do surgery right now) but even at her worse she never went after her face, Also adrenal and bald usually have engorged sex organs. The girls anyway in my experience look more like whole males then girls. LOL
So if your little girl is not showing any other adrenal signs then extreme itchiness I think I would start looking for an allergy.
Adrenal starts at base of tail and works it's way up the back so although I am not a vet I would say it is probably not that.
I will bet something has come in to bloom and she has developed an allergy to it. Animals can also be allergic to dust mites which will cause excessive itching. I am really just writing as I think kind of a brain storm session thing.
Fuzzbutts can have benadryl yup her it is

ask the vet first of course but if it helps or stops the itchys you will know it is an allergy of some sort
I am not a vet or an expert like several of our members just yje ferret mommy of 6
Hello from Florida USA by the way.

[Fur loss with adrenal disease can start anywhere,
but over the sacrum, the lower back by the base of
the tail, is extremely common.
