Subject: [ferrethealth] Brewers yeast for diabetic ferret

We are dealing with a diabetic ferret and I would like to make a batch
of Bob' Chicken Gravy without the sugar of Nutri-Cal and honey and also
add some brewer's yeast for the chromium in it. How much yeast should I
use for the typical six-pound batch and also is there any other vitamin
product I could use instead of the Nutri-Cal? How about the liquid drops
and how much would I use?
Ferret's bg was up to 500, now down to 250.
