Marshell Ferret has a brand for seniors now that is lower cal.
also Ferrets have sensitive tummies so changing their food may affect it. and sometimes it will take a while for a ferret to get used to new food so i would suggest trying it slowly. a good compounding pharmacy might have some advice as they usually compound meds for pets and might advise on how to easily change over the diet.

Does this mean to see about buying
flavoring?
A number of companies have senior foods,
and once a ferret is on a balanced diet
it may make sense to not allow that ferret
more than a tiny taste of soup since the
ferret is already on ferret foods so not
at need of extra calories, just of having
a reminder taste now and then.
