Mike, you might try adding about 1 tsp (per day)=A0 of heavy whipping cream=
to his soup to give him the extra fat he may need. Just a thought. It work=
s for mine and I find that amount doesn't change the "poops" any.

Try a tinier bit first -- like a little taste on your finger.
We had one with IBD who worsened so badly with the
heavy cream (about a tablespoonful) that he almost
passed and required months and many, many meds
to stabilize. A smaller amount might tell if your ferret
may have that same sensitivity or not.
