I am glad to hear that Zephyr has bounced back from that recent
"spell". At her age it 'could" be a number of things though I do
not feel insulinoma is perhaps the cause... those symptoms are
usually gazing off, drooling, seizing, lack of appetite, etc.
It almost sounds like her issues are similar to a pin stroke etc. so
a heart check might be a prudent avenue at this time.

[According to Dr. Bruce Williams ferrets don't get
true strokes, though the term is sometimes used
loosely for a range of vascular accidents. His posts
on that are in the separate FHL Archives.

What can happen with them from several types of
medical problems, including heart disease, is thrown
clots, so Alicia's suggestion to include a heart check
in the examination is excellent advice.

I know there are neurological disorders and diseases
also discussed in there but lack time to check now,
