Subject: [ferrethealth] Dandruff equals mites?

I did a dandruff search and I see that in ferrets if they have what looks like dandruff it can mean they have mites....that means I now have to give meds to over a dozen ferrets!? Ack.
Since I'm heading to the vet tomorrow does anyone know what med I should be asking for? Or can ferrets get more than one type of mite?

[Call the vets and add appointments for these
two so that the treatment is based on the
actual cause. If that can't be done ask the
vet what to bring along: dandruff and combing
samples, photos, whatever, or if who has
appointments when needs to change.
