Subject: [ferrethealth] teeth cleaning
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
For my own teeth i have an electrical brush that rotates left-right .
My ferrets LOVED the sound of it, so i tried an old brush of me with some vitamin oil they got from the local vet.
At first they tried to catch the rotating brush with their teeth but after a while they just loved to play with the brush and played with it, takin it gently in their mouth.
So this play started out as fun but was teethbrushing too.
Due to medicL ISSUES MY FERRETS ONLY GOT SOFT FOOD AND NO KIBBLE OR PURE MEAT, SO THE BUILT UP OF TEETH PROBS STARTED WITH THAT. i MANAGED TO CLEAN THE TEETH PRETTY GOOD AND FOR THE REST OF THE CARE I VISITED A VET.
