I'm not a vet but I was a Respiratory therapist for 12 years and it sounds =
like he has congestive heart failure.=C2=A0 You need to get him to a ferret=
knowledgable vet asap.=C2=A0 It is possible to manage this condition in fe=
rrets with lasix and other heart meds but he need to be seen now.=C2=A0 Thi=
s is an emergency please take him to a vet right away.

In congestive heart failure the heart can not keep up with the amount of fl=
uid (blood) and it back up into the lungs and causes coughing and in server=
cases foam (usually pink from the blood) can be coughed up.
