Subject: [ferrethealth] fur thining on tail - young ferret

I have a ferret that is not yet 2 years old and his tail looks like it is *=
just
starting* to go bald towards the end of it.. I cannot see any balding at th=
e
base of the tail.. What is my first step from here?=A0 We try to keep all o=
ur
ferrets in complete darkness when they sleep.. what else can I do and shoul=
d I
take him in to the vet now or wait and see if it=A0progresses or gets bette=
r?.. he
is only 2 years old, after all.=A0 But we are really worried that this migh=
t be
adrenal disease.
