For some reason all of her hair has fallen out except for on its head and even that has thinned out greatly. The baby looks like an adult ferret with a full blown case of Adrenal Disease is it possible at such a young age for a ferret to have Adrenal problems or what else could cause this?

This ferret can be seen in

BTW: The FHL photo albums are ONLY for health photos like these
so that we do not once again run out of space just when someone
badly needs to enter a photo to help a sick ferret. These are NOT
cute ferret photos; they are "something is very wrong with this one"
photos.

These sorts of skin creams/lotions/gels have caused symptoms
like adrenal disease or like heat in animals:

Certainly, other things contain hormones that could cause
problems: birth control pills, hormone replacement therapy,
prostate meds, etc.

Two substances mentioned before in the FHL which have
estrogenic effects and anti-androgenic effects are
lavender and tea tree oil, so if there has been exposure to
these perhaps this is a sensitive individual.

Skin allergies need to be ruled out

Getting hold of hormones in any way needs to be ruled out,
even phytoestrogens if food is homemade.

I posted much of this yesterday but it got eaten at the site.

What has the treating veterinarian said? This is an unusual
situation and we all have an opportunity to learn.
