I have had positive results with the Deslorelin implant! The quickest was 3 days a swollen vulva had reduced to almost a normal size. Within a week it was perfectly normal. This was in a 6 year-old sprite.
The average response time is staggered in the clinical symptoms with the hair regrowth being the last to come about. The longest time I've experienced is cessation of all clinical symptoms within 3 months.
To date I have had 10 ferrets implanted with Deslorelin.
I would suggest contacting Peptech, presumably that is where your implants came from. Your vet may have an expired batch. I don't know if there are requirements for its storage, which may not have been met via transport, etc.
