Subject: [ferrethealth] commom cold in ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
G'day,
I understand that ferrets don't get the 'common cold' caused by rhinoviruses. However there are other viruses that cause common cold symptoms in humans, such as coronavirus, human parainfluenza virus, human respiratory syncytial virus, adenoviruses, enteroviruses, metapneumovirus. Any research that the latter can infect ferrets causing them to have 'common cold' like symptoms?
Just curious,
Ben
