Subject: [ferrethealth] suprelorin implants
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hello everybody!

My name is Chris and I need some information about the suprelorin implants. I
have a friend back at home in Romania that owns a ferret that was just diagnosed
with AD and back there vets really don't know much about a ferret's medical
care. He did learn about these implants and asked me to look for them here in
the US. I would appreciate any type of information about this treatment,
especially how/where can I get a hold of it.

Thank you very much!
Chris

[Important heads up. AD does not mean Adrenal Disease.
It means Aleutian Disease (and ADV means Aleutian Disease
Virus). The recognized abbreviations for Adrenal Disease are
ACD (Adrenal Cortical Disease) and AAE (Adrenal Associated
Endocrinopathy)

Using "AD" can cause confusion and get unrelated replies when
you mean to use "ACD" or "AAE"

Here is how HIS VET can get the implants:

He needs to have his VET ask the Peptech people
if there is a Suprelorin distributor for Romania but
if not then how to import to Romania. This IS a
prescription medication.

http://www.peptech.com/

In most of Europe it is much EASIER to get Suprelorin
than here in the U.S.
