Subject: [ferrethealth] FRONTLINE and FERRETS
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I know it's not officially approved, but can it be used?
We have a *serious* tick problem here and I have read several informal articles saying it was safe.

The vet around here is a non-ferret vet and he recommended using a product from a nursery - "cevin dust with 5% carbonyl".

Also, if I can use the FRONTLINE, *when* could I safely use it?
He has a bunch a ticks I can't pull off BUT I just gave him a dose of Advantage (0.10 ml) on August 7.

Thank you so much for any help.

[This is the second post on this topic
from this poster that I have approved today
but the other one seems to have been eaten
by Yahoogroups after approval.

I will try to reconstitute some of the information
put on the other:

http://ferrethealth.org/archive/FHL353

and more in
http://ferrethealth.org/archive/
which can be found by putting
Frontline
in the box for content and leaving
the from and subject line boxes empty until
you know how you want to narrow your search.
