I've already spoken with the compounding pharmacist. He told me that I
could get the Diazoxide in chicken flavor and that was a different color
than the pred. Yes, it's slightly different, but nothing that gives me
a total sense of security. I asked him about food colorings and he said
to call my vet.
I guess getting amber syringes is probably the smartest way to go, but
it would still give me more piece of mind if the medication was a
distinct, different color.
I guess food coloring may also affect urine and/or feces color too.
That could be a problem.
