The one with CHF cannot have pred and, in an effort not to make a mistake dispensing meds, I want to know if I can color the dizoxide (or the pred) so that there will be an obvious color difference in the syringes once the meds are drawn.

Putting any type of coloration, including food coloring, in medication is a bad idea. A better idea is to put a spot of nail polish on the outside of the syringe. Use different colors of nail polish for different medications.

[Interesting idea and maybe a tiny dab could be
done of the labels of the meds to know which
meds are which colors? I am unsure how some
of he plastics and other materials will deal with
nail polishes so I join the curious.
