Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Looking for some advice/help
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have to go with Tressie. When my Uncle Joe and Frank died of congestive heart failure, and Larry of lymphoma, their body temps dropped significantly 12 or so hours before they passed. Joe died in his sleep and Frank died on the table before the vet could inject the PTS meds. I scheduled Larry to be PTS the next day, but he died in my arms that night.

[This is not a contest, of course. It is just
people with differing experiences, and their
suggestions are offered in a loving fashion
whether they agree or disagree on this incredibly
difficult choice and on how they read the
description. This does clarify why some people
would think in one direction, though, and makes
it obvious that both types of advice, though
opposite, are given with true caring, based upon
experience.
