Again, have the ultrasounds of chest and of abdomen been done, and has an ultrasound guided aspirate from the spleen been done?

Besides being large what does the vet say that the spleen feels and looks like? Lumpy? Uneven margins?

Also, if Prednisone is being given instead of Prednisolone your vet will want to chance to Prednisolone if lymphoma is still suspected.

In ferrets if the liver is at all compromised then Prednisone often does not work at all, or works very little.

That is because the form the body needs to utilize this med is the Prednisolone one.

When Prednisone is given their livers must convert it to Prednisolone for the body to use it. If the liver is compromised then the med is not converted and is useless.

So, skip the liver processing step and give ferrets Prednisolone instead of Prednisone.
