Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Looking for some advice/help

To all that has posted and responded to helping me with Loki
Loki woke me up with severe abdominal spasms at 5:30 this morning. I was deeply upset that he was still having those contractions. He went to the vet today at 10am and we did an ultrasound of his lungs since he was having such problems breathing and last week x-rays showed fluid in the lung cavity. Unfortunately, Loki had a tumor in his lung cavity, which the Dr. was sure it was cancer/lymphoma. She said there was nothing at this point I could do for him and it was basically time. He was put to sleep in my arms around 11am this morning. This was/is very hard for me and I can only pray that my other ferret can make it without Loki (his partner in crime for 5.5 years).
