Subject: [ferrethealth] Tramadol dose for pain control for Sophie?

What dose is being given to ferrets for pain control? I spoke with our vet about prescribing Tramadol but he didn't know the dose for ferrets? Is it compounded into oral liquid? And if so what is the best flavor?
Sophie is not doing well with the morphine derivative, it is making her upset when she starts coming out of it. That happened with Sabre too when he was given the same drug for a broken femur.
