[Question in final paragraph.

Reminder: on the FHL we do not discuss
food PREFERENCES so if replying about

We do discuss clear health aspects, for example,
blockages from dried cartilage treats.

My little ferret baby came to me at 7 months old. We got her for company for an older ferret, Frieda, who just lost her friend to what we think was a urinary tract stoppage. His name was Salvador.

Frieda died last year from adrenal gland disease. So we just have our little Sadie left.

She isn't very big but she makes up for that with attitude. We thought of getting a friend for her but she's not lonely at all. She runs the cats ragged.

I really don't know what her favorite game is, mock attack, rodeo, or leap frog chase. She love footsie too.
Mock attack is what they all do I suppose when they play with there little chitter sound and hunched back and walking backwards. Rodeo is not something we encourage and we have to keep an eye on her or she'll jump on the back of our biggest cat and bite him on the back while he takes off and she hangs on with her teeth. As soon as we grab her she lets go and is very pleased with herself that she got that far before we grabbed her. The leap frog chase is what she does the most. She'll chase the cats all over the house and they'll chase her and they jump all over each other and she runs under them and over the furniture. It's a general free for all that is enjoyed by both four and two lagged family members. Then there is footsie. She has a thing about my feet if they are not in shoes and will play war with my toes. Oh, one other game she likes to play is wake up. If my husband gets up before I do and lets her out of her house she'll come in the bedroom and start nipping at my l
egs to wake me up. She has no sense of decorum either. Good thing I wake up fast, lol.

Well, I know this group is about the health of ferrets and I wanted to ask about a couple of habits Sadie has developed. I need to know if we should stop her. First we have these dog chews that are coated with something like a gravy sauce and if the dogs don't finish one and it has some of this coating on it Sadie will find it and lick it all off. She also likes the cat treats, which are strips of chicken jerky. I thought they'd be ok for her to since they have no additives are are just chicken? She seems happy and healthy. Oh, she also likes to knock over anything that has milk in it if she can get to it. She loves milk. But I thought if milk isn't good for cats, it can't be good for her. Is there any milk like stuff that I can give her?
I'd appreciate any information you can give me.
Thank you.
