And he does it again!
We don't know how HIlbert's kidneys keep coming back
but he is concentrating urine once again. This makes 4
times in his life when his kidneys got seriously compromised,
with three of the times (not the current one) close to fatal, yet
those kidneys of his keep bouncing back
So, now it is no longer a race between his kidneys and
pancreas to see which gets him first.
He still needs help (usually extreme walking on his part
though we use the warm wet cloth lick-simulation trick.
too) to urinate or defecate, but he is urinating more in a
puddle and less in a stream now.
In a few days we will have his other urine and blood test results
back.
Not too shabby for an 8 year old boy who was expected to die
in his first year due to urinary tract genetic problems.
