Subject: [ferrethealth] lupon during mating season
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
i read somewhere that some vets are now using lupon or desorlin during the ferret's mating season to help prevent adrenal disease.
1. Has anyone tried this?
2. and if so what is the mating seasons?
I had read Jan and Feb.
as the vets in my area do not seem as knowledgeable as i think they should be about ferret health. Just trying to get all the info before i get my new ferret this month.
[You can find quite a bit about this in
the separate FHL Archives.
Just go to
http://ferrethealth.org/archive/
Leave two boxes empty but in the
box that says
Search Message Body For
just type in the words
adrenal and prevention
then just skim through the results
that come up and click open the
ones you want to read.
