It isn't just lymphoma. I've seen all sorts of cancers, from malignant mast cells and melanoma to anal gland cancer to liver cancer and, of course, insulinomas and malignant adrenals, etc. Ferrets get all sorts of cancers and it's all very common. It's genetics. As with many other species, human interference is the cause.
