my ? is.. what kind of food did you give them?
that might be a key to no adrenal..
and or lighting.
[Well, I know for a fact that some ferrets can live long lives with
no adrenal disease. Ours used to be used for teaching purposes
after they passed, complete with pathology done, and a number
had no adrenal disease ever. Of course, some did. One had
asymptomatic adrenal disease found after death, but none
of our other ones who passed after a full life without known
adrenal disease had any adrenal disease show up, even with
pathology results.
These were almost all early neutered ones. As is already known,
whole ferrets have a lowered chance of adrenal disease than
neutered ones.
