Pop has not been checked for insulinoma since December, when he first came to me abandoned and severely malnourished, as he's never shown any of the 'normal' signs of insulinoma, but at his next vet check I will have his blood glucose checked. He would be the first insulinomic ferret that I've had that has presented with diarrhea, so it wasn't a symptom that immediately equated with possible insulinoma in my mind. He does have adrenal disease and has both a melatonin and Suprelorin implant. So far the prednisolone has helped a great deal, and it's the only thing that's helped since the diarrhea/very loose stools started roughly 10 weeks ago.

[Was he checked for insulinoma?
Insulinoma does not usually cause
mucus w feces BUT it OFTEN causes
diarrhea which looks like
butterscotch pudding, so often so
that one of our past vets who
moved out of state always checked
blood sugar when it looked like
that.
