[Suprelorin is in a sort of mid category.
Deslorelin IS approved. The implant
technology did not get a separate
approval and the last time I spoke with
the two FDA branches involved the
veterinary one did not think that the
implant needs it and the other was not
sure.
What Suprelorin definitely does NOT
have in the U.S. is a DISTRIBUTOR, but
since it also is NOT in competition with
a U.S. manufacturer or distributor with
the same drug form (implant useable
in ferrets and dogs) it can be imported
without causing problems for a U.S.
company's licenses.

You might want to make sure this person aware that Suprelorin is not FDA approved, since FDA approval seems to be the concern.
