Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Bad weather reminder: in case the FHL moderators can not be on line
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

An addendum:

Sometimes if we can get on for short periods we might be
able to approve some messages, but don't count on that
during a storm. The ones that fail to follow the FHL Rules
(for example, ones where you have quoted a lot more than
you say in your given message WHICH I WILL DO BELOW THIS
MESSAGE TO GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE) tend to take up a decent
bit of time when the editing needs are added up so messages
like that will be more likely to sit in the pending section until
the weather clears.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: DO read the FHL Rules in the Files
section of the website and follow those rules.

NOW: Notice that I am violating a rule purposely below by
including a long quote below this post. See what we mean?

WE PURPOSELY ALLOW VETERINARIANS TO BE EXCEPTIONS
AND INCLUDE SUCH QUOTES BECAUSE THAT CAN HELP US
ALL LEARN. The rest of us usually -- with rare exceptions --
need to follow that rule which is the most commonly violated
FHL Rule. Some websites allow that and even like it so that
people can follow conversations that way, but on the FHL we
need the posts to be easy for vets who are donating their
time to get through because that increases the chances of
useful replies which help ferrets and ferret people. (Yes,
each of the rules has at least one actual reason for existing.)
