I understand that Carafate is helpful for this.=C2=A0 It coats the throat a=
nd stomach and helps reduce the pain when eating.

Also for the food you could try mixing in some ensure. I know it isn't all =
that good for them but when I had a ferret (Sprout) who had liver problems =
and did not want to eat he would eat his soup with ensure mixed in.
