Subject: [ferrethealth] melatonin

I realize this may be a stupid question but I wanted to know what the difference
is between giving my ferrets melatonin every day orally versus the implant. I
know the implant is more convenient but I'm waiting on getting some (is there a
source for the common ferret owner, not a shelter?) I use it profilactically for
a couple and because a couple seem to be in the early stages of adrenal. There
is no ferret wise vet in my area (Harbor Springs, Michigan). Thank you for your
