Subject: [ferrethealth] adreanl ferrets and salt

i have been seeing adreanl ferrets that i have had do a lot of licking them seem to like it most when my skin is a little sweaty. in searching online i found when a chemical is released that causes a craving for salt. im wondering if there is a need for salt?
