Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: cyclophosphamide for lymphomia
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

If you aren't planning full blown chemo and his body isn't totally blown out by the pred it may help. There is a SubQ protocol I have used which works pretty nicely but don't do chemo often, most of my clients don'e want to make the investment. Take care and good luck. This drug is part of the whole protocol and certainly can't hurt.

My vet mentioned another chemo drug called cyclophosphamide that she would look into on trying by itself with the pred. I looked on here and found that its been mentioned using the 2 in combination, but no results were mentioned or if it helped or not. Does anyone have any experience with this? He is pretty high up there with the dose of pred..and is gaining so much weight on it...4.05 lbs. Please let me know if you've used this combination and whether it was beneficial and prolonged life or not. I am told the drug is relatively inexpensive.
