Hi Marcy,=A0=A0 One of my ferrets has lymphoma, and he had been on cyclopho=
sphamide in the past.=A0 I can't really tell you that much about that med, =
as it didn't work for him.=A0 I can tell you that prior to him being starte=
d on that med, that I made sure it had been used on ferrets before, so I kn=
ow that much.=A0 You would probably have to go in for routine blood checks.=
=A0 But a consideration though, that your vet would want to check into... i=
f your ferret is on Pred now, chemo is not usually effective when its start=
ed after being on Pred.=A0 This info is coming from my vet who is extremely=
experienced in chemo.=A0 There are many chemo drugs out there, do you know=
why your vet chose that particular drug?=A0 You may want to consider a bio=
psy to get really specific info as to what type of lymphoma it is, and that=
would help you/your vet decide on a course of chemo treatment.=A0 But like=
I mentioned, if he's already been on Pred for awhile, I don't know how
successful it would be.=A0 Good luck with your little one.
Andrea

PS- As for the price of cyclophosphamide, I dont recall the price, but you =
should be able to call a pharmacy with the dosage amount, and they can quot=
e you a price.
