I was looking into trying L-Asparaginase for my 4-year-old Minnie Mouse, but unfortunately her cancer was way too aggressive and I had to put her to sleep Wednesday, before we could ever try. I had two vets both tell me that this is a chemo drug that can be tried one time, without necessarily having to commit to an entire chemo protocol. They also said that it is not prone to being less effective if the ferret has been on pred. Their results with it have been mixed, but probably less than 50% effective.
