To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
I tried the L-Asparaginase on one of my six year old sprites with
gastrointestinal lymphoma. From the beginning our vet oncologist warned me that
gastrointestinal lymphoma is the least responsive to chemo protocols when it
comes to ferrets. The first treatment reduced the tumor greatly, by the second
treatment she was losing weight rapidly. By the time the third treatment rolled
around, I decided the treatment was worse than the disease and let her go with
dignity.
I have had much better, and longer results just using Prednisolone.
