Subject: [ferrethealth] my ferret shakes his head when he eats

I have given my ferret a bath and cleaned his ears but he still eats and shakes his head, eats some more and shakes his head.
The vet told me today that he does not have ear mites, he tested for that He , also, looked in his ears just said that it looked ok but was waxy. He said he knew of one other ferret that shook his head when he was eating. sounded like he meant that it might be normal for some ferrets. Does anyone have in input on this???
