My ferret doubled his size in a month and a half. He went from 2.16 to 4.05lbs. I blamed it on the pred increase, but if you find some other reason please let me know as I will do follow up work with him.

can find out if that rapid weight gain is
instead fluid (ascites) because in that case
there will be an underlying problem that
needs treatment, often some form of
heart disease but sometimes other things
such as lymphoma.
