Subject: [ferrethealth] Bad breath - weight loss

4 year old Marshall gib, as of 4 months back no health issues, had presented recently with bad breath, and weight loss.
No chance of eating the wrong thing, so I'm told.
Can move; no hind-specific weakness
Has exposure to cats.
Have tried for more details of his symptoms to no avail.
Moneys in the household - nill.
Any suggestions for further concerns, and/or home treatments!?
