One thought is he could have a tooth or teeth which is infected.=C2=A0=C2=
=A0 With an infected tooth ferrets don't eat as much because it hurts so mu=
ch, and it causes a bad smell=C2=A0=C2=A0We had one ferret who had the same=
problem (he lost 9 ounces)=C2=A0and he had to have two incisors and molar =
pulled.=C2=A0 We feed him pureed chicken up to 6 times a day to get his wei=
ght back up.

I understand that $ are nill but he may need a dental cleaning which will c=
ost some $ and it sounds like he may need it.=C2=A0 You may want to conside=
r feeding him some soft food or soup (pureed chicken), and get his teeth lo=
oked at.
