Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Telemna and Hubble: need some info on a few topics
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have heard back from an adrenal disease researcher that
his inclination is to skip surgery and go with the Suprelorin
each 6 months for Telemna.

We're going to start making some kidney disease changes for
Hubble: fish oil, reduced protein food parts of the day when
he can be out separate from the others, and treats like cooked
egg which are low in phosporous.

We'd stopped using low protein foods for much of what was
available when Hilbert and Morney passed. They both got
cystine uroliths so needed low protein. So, we have low
protein kibbles still in stock. Hubble's diarrhea DID worsen
after we lost Hilbert and Morney so perhaps the higher
protein levels worsened his hidden kidney damage. I'd
thought it was just completely my fault for forgetting his
B-12 twice during the time when Hilbert and Morney, and
Steve's mom were all so very ill, but he is not bouncing back
despite it having been re-added. Maybe reduced protein
intake will help him.

We'll be collecting urine from him for a specific gravity on
a day that Steve can make the trip to the hospital with the
urine.
