Subject: [ferrethealth] Tooth Problems
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com, F M L <ferret-L@listserv.ferretmailinglist.org>
We noticed that one of our ferrets had some bad looking gums and teeth and =
took him to our vet.=A0 Yes they were bad and he had a week with antibiotic=
s and he had his dental today.=A0 The vet had to remove 5 teeth.
=A0
Will he still be able to eat kibble?=A0 Is there a good soft food out there=
that we can get?=A0 Can this food be left out in the cage and play area or=
will it grow mold and go bad?
=A0
Before his dental he didn't seem to have any problems eating even with his =
bad teeth.
=A0
Thank you
=A0
Mike
