Hi Kat -=A0 I'm not really sure what could be causing the bruises, but like=
the moderator mentioned, she could be anemic from the adrenal disease.=A0 =
You mentioned that she is on Pred, but what is she being treated with for t=
he adrenal disease?=A0 Pred will not help that.=A0

For her large belly, if you say that her spleen looked normal on xrays, her=
large belly could be due from her being on the Pred for so long.=A0 Its kn=
own as the Pred belly.=A0 That could also be causing her enlarged lymph nod=
es - when my ferret was on Pred, she developed the same - big pear shaped b=
elly, and huge nodes.=A0 The vet did a biopsy of her nodes, it was all just=
fat surrounding them.=A0 Same as your results came back.=A0 She was weaned=
off the Pred and put on the Diazoxide and her belly and nodes went back to=
normal size.=A0 Esp since you say she has been on Pred for a year, I would=
really consider that that is what it is, but its impossible to say for sur=
e without a biopsy.

So the good news is that, for her insulinoma she could be slowly weaned off=
of the Pred and put on Diazoxide (she'd have to be glucosed checked to mak=
e sure sugar level is good)... but the bad part is, that if she does have l=
ymphoma, the Pred is helping control the lymphoma, so you wouldn't want her=
off it.=A0 To know for sure what is going on, you may want to consider a b=
iopsy rather than an aspirate (if thats what your vet did).=A0

Good luck with her,
Andrea
