In regards to

[If my interpretation of what you write is accurate then
we've seen something similar with a clot thrown to the
brain due to cardiomyopathy. Such thromboses can be
alternatively caused by kidney disease, or by lymphoma.

If a clot was thrown would all these sypmtoms disapear the next day?=C2=A0=

[Yes. It would depend on how bad the clot was.
The body can clear some within a day.]

What kind of test can be done to test for kidney disease?=C2=A0 We didn't d=
o any tests but listening to his heard and lungs all sounded normal.=C2=A0

[Those are not sufficient tests for the heart
except to know very overt problems. Perhaps
have a double cavity ultrasound done so the
heart and kidneys can be imaged. An x-ray
will tell if there is hyperplastic cardiomyopathy
but not give enough info to treat so the
ultrasound will be needed anyway if it is
present and the ultrasound can spot hypertrophic
cardiomyopahty. An EKG/ECG can spot
some other possible problems so may also be
needed.

For kidney disease the ultrasound can spot
some things. Urine concentration can tell if
the kidneys are not working well.Blood tests can
be off, but ferrets are notorious for kidney disease
not showing up in blood work very well, though
some ferrets beat the norm and show that way
earlier.=20

Kidney disease and heart disease also pretty often
appear together.
