In Regards to "Rainbow Bridge"...

I think, if I may give my opinion, that you, as the owner, should use your intuition. If you feel that she has not much pain physically, but has not any quality of life, and seems depressed, spend some extra time with her, appreciate her and bond with her, and if indeed your intuion tells you still that there is no quality of life or enjoyment, you should listen to your intuition and do what is humane. What would you have in your living will (directions for when you are very old, sick, and being cared for)? At what point would you rather choose eternal freedom, or would you have medical treatment stretch out your life as long as possible just for the sake of being kept alive? It might be selfish to keep one alive just for the sake of having her there with you.

What does the vet say? Maybe he can help you judge what is best for her. Afterall, whats best for her is best for you. Best wishes for this difficult time!!!

These are only my thoughts on the matter. Only you can know whats best!
