Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret throwing up clear stuff

Your ferret ate something that he shouldn't. This was the first thing my yo=
ung male did and I watched him over night and by the next day the vet could=
n't save him.=C2=A0 He had eaten the tip of an earplug and they tried surge=
ry and he died anyway.
If he doesn't pass anything in his poop and looks lethargic, get him to the=
vet ASAP.
Best to yoiu both.

I noticed today about 4 hrs ago my ferret heaving and throwing up. Wh=
en I cleaned it up, the throwup is clear with nothing in it. He is eating a=
nd drinking water. He is only about 11 mths old and very healthy. Has never=
had a problem at all. I thought maybe he was eating the ferret liter(I use=
yesterdays news in there ferret box) so I took it away. He is playing and =
jumping around. I just put him back in his cage and he is sleeping. What co=
uld he be throwing up?
