Subject: [ferrethealth] Scratching

What can i do for my female rescued ferret that scratches constantly? Even from a dead sleep she wakes up tp scratch. She does not have fleas and there's no flakes on her skin or coat. Don't know how old she is exactly but i'm guessing around 6-8 months and was neglectded badly for awhile before we rescued her. Trying to put some serious weight on her which she needs. I've had ferrets before but none of them have scratched like she did.
